Anthony Zack, NASM-CPT, USAW-L1, Sports Performance Coach
Coach Anthony grew up in Burlington Township, NJ where he always had an interest in trying new sports and challenged himself physically throughout his childhood. He competed in baseball and street hockey; however, he excelled in Mixed Martial Arts. He had the opportunity to train with MMA fighters and be in the fight corner of one of his fellow fighters. Soon after, he was given the position of being a MMA trainer where he trained adolescents, teenagers, and adults in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, boxing, Muay Tai, and wrestling. Following this experience he knew that working with athletes and helping them achieve their goals is what he wanted to do for a career.
Anthony graduated magna cum laude from Rowan University with a Bachelor’s in Health and Exercise Science. He has furthered his education with earning his personal training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Additionally, he is also certified through USA Weightlifting which has increased his knowledge and confidence to teach athletes the practice of Olympic lifts. Coach Anthony was an intern at The Training Room and was hired as a coach. He works tirelessly to help athletes to develop and achieve their physical and personal goals. His goal is to help them learn the skills properly and to assure proper form in their practice so that they can excel at their sport and to prevent injury.
