CJ Conway

CJ Conway, CSCS, USAW, FMS, Sports Performance Director

Coach CJ is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the country’s leading Strength and Conditioning Association, the NSCA. CJ trained at Velocity Sports Performance, Cherry Hill throughout his years at Hammonton High School where he had a successful athletic career earning varsity letters in Football, Basketball, Swimming, and Track. He remains one of the most gifted, hardest working, and humble athletes we were lucky enough to work with. He attended Montclair State University and after making the Dean’s list 7 times, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science in 2015. In college, he continued his athletic career in Football where he was named a 2 time All-American. Upon graduation, he was invited to the New York Giants Rookie Mini-Camp where he spent a brief period with the team. CJ completed his internship at Velocity Sports Performance where he was hired upon completion. Coach Conway continues to pursue opportunities to enhance his clinical expertise such as completing Postural Restoration Institute’s course, Myokinematic Restoration – An Integrated Approach to Treatment of Patterned Lumbo-Pelvic-Femoral Pathomechanics. CJ focuses on the development of efficient motor patterns to enhance performance as well as the development of strength to increase speed and agility. He has a knack for assessing and enhancing running efficiency to improve performance and prevent injury. With the combination of his athletic experience and passion for strength and conditioning, CJ has had success helping athletes improve their overall athleticism and achieve their goals.
