Nick Burgin, PT, DPT, CSCS
Nick Burgin grew up in Mullica Hill, NJ and graduated from Kingsway Regional High School in 2005, where he played both golf and soccer. He received his Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science from The College of New Jersey in Ewing in 2009. During his last semester, he completed an internship with Velocity Sports Performance in Cherry Hill, where he went on to be a sports performance coach for two years, coaching both adults for personal fitness and high-school and collegiate athletes for speed and strength technique. He also provided off-site training to multiple schools and sports teams within South Jersey. After returning to school to study Physical Therapy, Nick graduated from Widener University in 2014 with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He uses his background in coaching and his certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist to head the Return to Play program in the Washington Township clinic. This program helps athletes recovering from ACL reconstruction and other injuries return to full participation in sport. He continues to focus on treating a wide range of patients from weekend warriors to serious athletes, with the philosophy that each patient’s individual goals should guide his treatment sessions. In his own time, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and fitting in rounds of golf whenever possible.
