Maria DiNenno, PT, DPT, Pelvic Health Therapist
Maria grew up in Maryland where she found her love for movement in gymnastics and was a
competitive gymnast for 10 years. She went to Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) where she received
her Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition Foods and Exercise in 2016. She attended Thomas
Jefferson University where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2020.
Maria specializes in pelvic floor physical therapy treating women and men with bladder, bowel,
and sexual dysfunction. This includes diagnoses of urinary/fecal urgency, urinary/fecal
incontinence, interstitial cystitis, pelvic organ prolapse, constipation, pelvic and low back pain,
diastasis recti, pubic symphysis dysfunction, and pain or difficulty with sexual intercourse. In
addition, Maria has a passion for treating pregnant and post-partum women, empowering and
supporting them through this new chapter of their lives.
Her training began in physical therapy school during a pelvic and women’s health internship,
and she continued her education with courses from the Herman and Wallace Pelvic
Rehabilitation Institute.
In her free time, Maria enjoys running (often with her dog, Lola), yoga, hiking, and spending
time with her family and friends.
